My name is Leyla, and I am from Somalia.

I am someone who loves people, values good relationships, and enjoys doing things for others. Life has taught me that the path can be difficult at times, but that every challenge can make you stronger and more hopeful.

I believe that everyone has their own story. For me, it is important to share kindness, respect, and joy with others. It makes me happy to see people helping and supporting one another, and to feel like I am part of a wonderful community.

When I met the volunteers from Thuis in Epe, I felt immediately welcomed and we clicked right away. I loved seeing how people supported each other and how everyone felt at home.

In the future, I hope to keep learning, growing, and contributing to the lives of others. I want to be someone who encourages people to take new steps and to be part of society, without fear.

To me, Thuis in Epe is not just a place to meet people; it is a place where I feel connection and friendship, where we create something beautiful together. I hope my story inspires someone else to join the community too. ❤️
